3.1. Engineering supervisor responsibilities

3.1.1. To maintain this procedure and any needed revisions in accordance with Document Change Notice procedure QOP-05-03.

3.1.2. The assigned operator is trained and following the procedures as written.

3.1.3. Maintenance is performed as sche

duled and documented. Inform maintenance of equipment problems.

3.1.4. Notify QC of non-conforming product for disposition and corrective action.

3.1.5. Equipment is properly maintained and calibrated when due.

3.1.6. Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets on product used in the area.

3.1.7. Notify Purchasing of non-conforming raw material.

3.2. Operator responsibilities

3.2.1. Follow the written procedures as detailed to ensure product quality.

3.2.2. The quality of the work performed.

3.2.3. Keep equipment and work area clean.

3.2.4. Inform supervisor of work as it progresses to other departments or phases of production.

3.3. Operator maintenance

3.3.1. Clean silver film processor as documented herein.

4. Safety and environmental requirements

4.1. Obsolete silver film will be placed in a container used for storage until removal for reclaim is directed by Waste Management Manager or Purchasing.

4.2. Eye and hand protection shall be worn when handling processor chemicals.

5. Tools
